Huge inertia here that can only be overcome by word of mouth. Well, guess how I found out that WFC was offering online banking and bill payment? Word of mouth from my niece, who told me about it, she thought it was so handy. I had heard of CKFR (they've been around for awhile), but last I had heard CKFR ended up printing paper checks for bills you were paying "electronically" (that must be the "Pay Anyone" feature). but genuine e-bill, with genuine e-pay, now that gets my attention better. Nothing wrong with Pay Anyone, but obviously you're going to have to give them (CheckFree) so much info to pay your dentist, that you may as well be paying them yourself. The sad thing about all this is that we (USA) is wayyyy behind Europe on this. They haven't used checkbooks there (at least in Finland) for at least 10 yrs, maybe more.
