Windseye--- <<"except for the possibility that a solid turn-around specialist might make a go of it,">> Even the guy that walked on water would have a tough time. I believe it is possible but in a much longer time frame than El suggested. If not I'd throw it out and move on. The most disappointing thing is just when you think you have heard the worst and all of it,,, they give us more...

<<" can't decide if AV is worth more as the core of a strong computer direct sales and enterprise service vehicle instead of trading it for 2 bil worth of CMGI shares,">>

I must agree with the article I posted... "CMGI is stealing it ..." If I wanted CMGI shares I would wait a little while longer and I believe get them much cheaper. Inuts are not far enough off their highs yet..
Just another indication they have no idea of a definete direction to take ....... AV was the reason many bought the stock in the first place-- or many would have bought different boxmakers or IBM. An IPO can go off in a very short time (under 60 days) and they could have received huge bucks--- now pennies to a share...

<<"solid turn-around specialist might make a go ..">> If they do not find one FAST it will languish much longer than 3 years.
