It is interesting to read some of the postings here during the slow consolidation period. I can't add a lot to the discussion, but I am here.

We will continue to maintain our presence, and our interest in Mongolia. Our partner, and the country must realize that the ramifications of what goes on in Mongolia will be exposed to public scrutiny. Whatever the outcome in Mongolia, MGR will proceed and develop as a mineral resource company (sorry Phil, our free samples are still just rocks).

I'll have to thank rdww for pointing out that there is a link between me and GMD Resource Corp, and their recently announced $16 million option deal with a wholly-owned De Beers subsidiary. Yes, I did stake that property and at one point controlled 100% of it in a prospecting syndicate. It was sold to GMD. My private company planned and collected the initial samples identifying high diamond prospectivity on the property. Many dollars, and substantial contributions from some very qualified consultants later, the deal was signed with the De Beer's sub.

The newly consolidated MGR is going to acquire assets closer to home. It will retain the Mongolian assets, but will add some very good, North American projects that have significant potential. It is on this basis we can move forward without worrying about how long our partner can make foreign investors nervous about doing business in Mongolia in general, and with them in particular.
