Hosting is just a part of NNCI's business. They also provide ecommerce solutions, which I don't imagine a free hosting service doing with any reliabilty or expertise. There are plenty of free hosting company's, from my experience, they are geared toward personal pages, not corporate. NNCI also has the affiliate program which allows individual consultants to brand NNCI's services into their own business. This exponentially builds loyalty and customer base.
