I was not aware that Mrs. Gramm was attacked by Buchanan's people. Who were they? I can't imagine Terry Jeffrey or Greg Mueller doing such a thing. There are a lot of loose cannons in campaigns - wannabe pundits and assorted agitators who are always saying things the campaign would not approve of. I agree about getting beyond single issue politics. Trouble is, the Bircher types (and their leftist counterparts) think that politics is the way to solve cultural and spiritual matters as well.
