Yes, agreed that as yield approaches 6.15-6.25% range, very little chance for sustained stock rally, especially with Y2K jitters. Lots of nimble traders and novices might still get into market, but big money will not.

I am becoming increasingly aware that I know too little about forces that drive the bond market. Are there any leading indicators that one should examine on a regular basis?
