Oh, I'm so relieved we are best friends!! My mother always said pick your friends wisely. Wouldn't she be pleased now? Of course, I wouldn't want to take advantage of our closeness. No, that would not be a nice thing to do and is below me. On the other hand, I see that you have already given out several choice positions and didn't even WAIT to see if perhaps I wanted one of them. Not that I would expect you to give any special consideration to your best friend. Because I'm not like that. ANd would NEVER presume on our longstanding coven sisterhood. ALthough I might have made a very fine court jester. But never mind. I'm certainly not going to tell you how to do your job. I am never presumptuous enough to tell anyone how to do anything. ALthough I have a couple of minor suggestions I would love to share with you. BUt only if you ask, because I am just not the type to intrude, even with a best friend. I see the position of Court Composer is still open. No-no- please-don't think that I would have the effrontery to suggest myself--- well- there really is no one else who-- no, no, no,really, I couldn't. Oh well, if you insist, I will consider it. Although I must talk to my son first. If you remember, he plans on being Dictator of the World soon and I AM his mother, after all--- not that I'd ever expect him to give me a position just because I made him and do his laundry. But that means you'll only be in for a few years before you're overthrown, and I do have to consider job security.
