Tom...like any number of the new and improved technologies that we are supposed to be enjoying and using w/increasing regularity now videoconferencing/video streaming is talking longer than initially anticipated to catch on. There is a good article on this sector in this weeks BW (this is the only financial stuff I read...keeps broad sweeps in view while not burying you in minutia)that indicates this sector is finally coming into its own. As bandwidth problems are solved my opinion only is that video and all plays off video are going
to be extremely popular with investors...if you pick the right horse.
Given the inroads RSIS has already made and their 9mo results thus far I think they have a good shot at success.

I agree the chart could use a little help...but waiting is part of the game. Double top almost a year ago caused significant damage and trend down from spikes since Jan seems almost unrelenting...and it will remain that way till it goes up. My bet is that it goes up. If we go down much further from here I will re-asess and consider buying again.
One of the things I like about micros is that they are not necessarily responsive to chart formations...

RSI Systems Reports Profit and Record Sales for
Third Quarter

MINNEAPOLIS, April 21 /PRNewswire/ -- RSI Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: RSIS - news), today reported that its fiscal
third-quarter sales increased 229 percent to $2,790,000 from $849,000 a year earlier. The company reported net profit of
$47,000 or 1 cent per share for the quarter ended March 31, 1999, in contrast to a net loss of $697,000 or 11 cents per share
in the third quarter of fiscal 1998.

''We are extremely pleased to have sustained our profitability while continuing to make substantial investments in our
technology and in marketing initiatives aimed at building name-recognition in the growing videoconferencing marketplace,'' said
Donald C. Lies, president and chief executive officer.

''Our third-quarter sales volume set a new single-quarter record by a wide margin, more than offsetting budgeted increases in
R&D and advertising expenses.'' Gross profit dollars increased by 287 percent in the quarter, outpacing sales growth.

For the nine months ended March 31, 1999, the company had net sales of $7,745,000, a 160-percent increase from
$2,976,000 in the same period a year earlier. The company reported a net profit of $54,000 or 1 cent per share for the nine
months, compared with a net loss of $1,516,000 or 28 cents per share in the first nine months of fiscal 1998.

''Throughout fiscal 1999 it has been management's strategy to invest in three forward-looking areas to sustain the company's
growth and create greater vertical market penetration,'' Lies said. ''These areas are research and development,
technical/customer support, and sales and marketing.

''Through our R&D investment we are continuing the refinement and delineation of the videoconferencing marketplace,'' Lies
said. ''RSI intends to continue its expansion from the conference room to the private office and into the home of the
professional business person with a family of multimedia-based communication stations offering television-quality technology.

''To expand and reinforce our worldwide distribution network, we are working with organizations that want to build
private-label products around RSI's videoconferencing engine. We have also increased our RSI-labeled brand network of
international distributors to assure more vertical market penetration within Asia, Europe and Australia.

''Not only did all of our OEM partners order products from RSI in the third quarter, but products were shipped into 20
separate countries, illustrating our growing market penetration around the globe.''
