Don,
I certainly agree that one is not buying technology there, because they both are licensing and integrating. The risk is obviously much much higher than CCUR which is my largest holding. I won't persist with this beyond here because you and many others on this board prefer to keep the discussion limited to CCUR, I am simply curious if anyone has an informed take on these two, for example some here went to NAB where both exhibited and may have seen the demos.
If there is no substance to either of those companies, I will be just as happy to know that. Personally I am quite curious about the recent USVO runup and their new internet advertising agency, but I have not learned anything worth knowing from my call to the company, and the 1000 plus new postings on the Raging Bull.
Short of any new insights, I am going to dump my USVO in the immediate future when the volume starts to dry up, and lock in my profit, while my CCUR horizon is much much longer due to what I see as a sustainable competitive advantage.
You make a good point about the effect of the press releases though, if they can do that for USVO, what can and probably will happen here when the right moment comes is really quite exciting.
