Hi lee,

I think they make money from advertizing and now their IPO.

For those that wanted the link:

askjeeves.com

Don't you just love FREE! I don't really think that they will charge for their services. BWDIK. More eyeballs right now are translating into more ad revenue. I saw a piece yesterday (not sure where) that people were surfing on line but 72% were still buying in a store. I think the ad budgets will begin to look at this statistic. Branding is also very important.

Time for breakfast. Hubby cooking this am. Yea!!!

see you later,

AnnieO

re jeeves, micropayments from vendors who sell to users may be a big bit of the revenue model...advertising a bit...but it becomes interesting to see the fight for the mircopayment referreals as imho the banner ads are failing

so the major profits will be the ipo :), for now

ynot :)
