Hi lee, I think they make money from advertizing and now their IPO. For those that wanted the link: askjeeves.com Don't you just love FREE! I don't really think that they will charge for their services. BWDIK. More eyeballs right now are translating into more ad revenue. I saw a piece yesterday (not sure where) that people were surfing on line but 72% were still buying in a store. I think the ad budgets will begin to look at this statistic. re jeeves, micropayments from vendors who sell to users may be a big bit of the revenue model...advertising a bit...but it becomes interesting to see the fight for the mircopayment referreals as imho the banner ads are failing so the major profits will be the ipo :), for now ynot :)
