Addendum: Looking for the bright side. Omnipoint GSM handsets will be useless in Japan. And GSM G* handsets will only work with the G* sats, not in a GSM land system. GSM simply ain't there, and CDMA in one flavor or another is "where it is at" there. At least one major market free and clear, no? Chaz PS This assumes of course PHS and analog continue their sharp decline. PPS Korea too tho smaller.
