Greenspan or no...we could get a nice bump this week as fund managers buy for quarter end window dressing effect and in anticipation of earnings.

On the other hand, I just heard Dan Rather say on TV that CBS has a big piece coming up this week on new cell phone use restrictions from the Feds(?). We could take a hit, as well.

I thought the Supremes were shutting the fed govt down on states rights regulatory-type issues?

It's obviously a question of semantics. As for the CBS feature, there have been news articles about paying more attention to the cell phone than to the steering wheel. If any regulations are adopted that permit the driver to use a cell phone when operating the vehicle ONLY if the equipment does not require use of the hands, QCOM and others will probably fill the gap. If someone contemplates regulations prohibiting the use of a cell phone altogether by a driver in a moving vehicle, then the NRA will probably step in. I can see the slogan now: "Cell phones don't kill, only the people who use them."
