I think you have some good ideas on earnings and splits. I would buy a stock that had pulled back to support, was in an acceptable sector, and the market was on offense. That's it and then hope it goes now not later and simply have fun watching it. I would diversify and basically keep it simple. As we revisit the contests as time goes on we will learn other things. We may also give you a chance to swop stocks one quarter out. That might be fun as a managed portfolio. We are limited to our immagination but we want it educational and fun. That way we all win. Tom
