William <The basis in fact that real interest rates are high.> For two years people went short AMZN on the way up using the same logic to explain why AMZN would come down -- because it is already high. The only facts I see now are that rates are going up and AMZN is going down. Rates will go up until the selling in bonds stops. We have not seen that yet. The people speculating here are the ones that think the selling will magically stop because 'rates are already high'.
