I get the point. Your knowledge of Internet and related topics is second to none. I'm not disputing your point of view per se.
I'm not convinced though that going into Internet gambling would make this stock fly, although diversification is good in any line of business and investment. Possibly Sungold could do very well by expanding it's horizon. After all, many shareholders are convinced it would be an excellent move on the part of management. Mining companies do switch into Internet gambling but if you look at their price moves it makes you wonder whether this is just a gimmick which allows insiders and promoters to unload a whack of cheap paper. Seldom are any of these stocks able to sustain higher share price and soon after decline.
Ciao

How Popular is Online Gambling?

Jun 29 1999
>>>Snip<<<
.........Recent figures indicate that 1999 Net gaming revenues will nearly double to $1.2 billion-from $651 million in 1998 (still just a tiny slice of the $600 billion land-based gaming market).

Whole story here:

It's my opinion that this is not a silly idea. (On-line gaming)

I remember someone in the investment biz, very sharp, great track record, telling me GNET was over valued at $27.00 back in October 98, then the stock went to $400.00. Right now it's at 91.00, up 12 bucks, take into account 2 splits it is $364.00. GNET owns Silicon Investor. You could have bought GNET for under 10 bucks last Aug. 98.
