Frantic Paul, Thanks, I didn't know if they were new or what. The "announcement" of the K7 on June 23rd is equivalent to Intel shipping P-IIIs to OEMs. The "real" announcement will come in a couple of weeks, apparently. The funny thing is that the K7 is here but no one has a machine, any benchmarks or motherboards we can hold in our hot little hands. Like I said, this will be a slooow....ramp. With so many things that could go wrong AMD is smart to control the situation as much as possible. This is going to be painful for AMD afficionados. Jim
