Bridge Player, you do know don't you, that you are preaching to the choir here....

If you've read my posts over the last few weeks, then "witch hunt" may have meaning for you....

My only caveat: I don't necessarily view this thread as a microcosm or reflection of the market in general. It is too influenced by the viewpoints and personalities of the particular posters on this thread. On the other hand, when a stock skyrockets, it is common for its thread's posters to go bonkers, whether the stock is AOL or GNET.

However, not always. The AMZN thread was a bullpit of vociferous debate during its long bull run. The EBAY and CMGI threads were remarkably quiet and civil during most of their bull runs.

Conclusion: SI is a great place! (says this GNET bull <g>).

Absolutely correct, Robert. The cult of the internet, as postulated in recent posts here (I believe it was by Pruguy) is indeed an emotion-driven cult.

Bridge, now you are lying....all I did was challenge you to tell me why the investors and subscribers of the last 4 years were mistaken when they were thinking they had picked a winner...I asked you for a reason and you didn't give me one...Try again, but hthat isn't emotion, that is picking a winner.
Thwey have overcome many challenges and until I see them loose one, I will continue to bet on AOL
Where are you putting your money?
