You will admit, however, that regardless of my right to ask you to explain, I have a right to consider you a sanctimonious hypocrite when you pretend to be a both superpatriot and a member of a sect that would not fight for its country. I think you have a perfect right to be one or the other, but not both without a convincing, sincere explanation. I hold with Dr. Johnson who said that patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel. You cannot run with the fox and hunt with hounds.
