RE:"Shiela,, CPQ gets the shares and if lucky enough to dump that many
before the price drops gets the gain == cash to pay bills. If they had done
the IPO on AV they would have recd cash for the shares sold (much
more cash) and retained the majority of shares therefore still retained
control."...

Compaq, the world leader in high-performance, high-availability

Compaq.com is a fully branded site offering an online store, the
ability to locate resellers, access to services and corporate

"Compaq.com is a very large and busy site. It is also a cornerstone of
Compaq's Internet strategy and a mission critical resource to many of

technologies thatare proven, scaleable and work seamlessly with the
technologies we've invested in, including NT," said Seth Romanow,
director of marketing and communications, Compaq.com. "We chose
Vignette StoryServer because it is the best choice in meeting these key
requirements. Ease of implementation and ease of use have enabled us to
quickly deploy StoryServer enterprise-wide."

"Vignette is pleased to add Compaq, a technology leader, to the roster
of Fortune 100 companies that are our customers," said Greg Peters,
president and CEO of Vignette. "As our business has grown, we have seen
more and more of our customers turning to Compaq as the mission
critical platform for Windows NT-based solutions. The fact that Compaq
has chosen StoryServer for their own online business further validates
our market position."

Increasingly, customers ranging from the smallest Internet start-ups to
Fortune 500 companies are running their web businesses on Vignette and
Compaq solutions, including NASD, The MONY Group, Crosswalk.com, the
leading Web portal for the online Christian community, and

"Our Web site is our business, so selecting technology that is both
innovative and reliable is critical to the success of
FamilyEducationCompany," said Eric Kemp, vice president of technology
