I don't think the movie-star bit (which was only true by an extreme stretch of the imagination) had much to do with the attraction. She was just a white female with large breasts, any other, in the movies or out, would have done as well.

I admit that some men do have the celebrity-worship syndrome, though I would still maintain that it is more common, and more extreme, among women. Many men would like to spend a weekend with the movie star of their choice, few would convince themselves that the star of choice actually possesses any of the finer qualities of the characters she portrays, or of the public image that is constructed around her.
