My position remains that a 6.25% bond is the about same (little less maybe) as 3 hikes and that's the most we are going to get. And at that rate, the S&P will sell off at most by 5%. 5-6 hikes are not going to happen in this inflation environment. At 6.25%, the money that went out of bonds from the 5.5-6.25 region will just come back which will push the yield down to 5.75-5.85 (equivalent of one rate hike). Stocks need not be affected at all.
