To me the S-8 shares are the ones that are given to the people that convert.

The S-8 shares are the employee compensation shares. They're not the same shares PP conversion gives.

If I had lost as much money as some people apparently have lost I would be trying to get the authorities to look into the whole mess, even though the contract says they can go short against the shares they will convert the loan into .

Not much can be done since that's what the agreement states, right?
