Yes of course, but what is significant is that in all prior warning shot PR from SEC. . .they were only targeting hypesters, pump and dumpers, manipulators, inside traders and misinformation posters.

This is the first time I can recall that each time they discuss manipulation. . .they say "up or down" . . . and they are specific about bashers for the first time I can remember. This is an important move by the SEC in helping to level the playing field for investors.

I have seen that bashing a stock is faster and more effective in getting a stock to move than all the research and enthusiasm one can do. Just a few words by a basher can tank a stock. TV journalists and guests are notorious for tanking stocks. . .by making fun of them, or stressing some area of doubt. It is about time the SEC looked into such actions. . . even if it means starting with those simple bashers here in cyberspace.
