Tibet without John would not be quite as much fun, so I guess I will pass on that, but thank you. I am looking for a place to go in Mexico that is truly beautiful and not scary in the way that militaristic regimes, corrupt police and desperately poor third world people can be sometimes. I was thinking maybe of Guadalajara or San Miguel de Allende. Do you know of either of these places? Beach resorts bore me, although ruins might be very interesting.
