6/28/99 - NetVision Inc. Announces Support for Novell's NDS 8

OREM, Utah, Jun 28,1999 (BUSINESS WIRE via COMTEX) -- NetVision Inc., a leading provider of network directory synchronization solutions, Monday released an update to Synchronicity 2 making it the first non-intrusive solution to integrate directories from multiple vendors with Novell's highly scalable NDS 8.

NetVision continues to lead the industry in providing bi-directional, real-time directory integration solutions that do not introduce new interfaces to learn or require any kind of directory structure overhaul.

With support for Novell's NDS 8, Synchronicity 2 now allows systems administrators to save huge amounts of time by avoiding redundant user/group account and password administration tasks in their increasingly complex network environments.

"NetVision has always been committed to being at the forefront of directory integration solutions that are based on Novell's NDS and our support for NDS 8 continues this tradition," said Tony Bailey, NetVision's director of product marketing.

"NetVision's Synchronicity 2 is designed to accommodate the one-billion object capacity of NDS 8 so that systems administrators can reduce their network administration headaches as their network environments get more complex," Bailey said.

"NetVision's Synchronicity 2 solutions are exciting because they increase both the cost savings in multi-vendor networks and the power of NDS 8 as a scalable, centralized management solution," said Adam Smith, Novell product marketing manager for NDS.

Synchronicity pricing begins at US $14 per user with volume discounts available. Synchronicity is available for download at the following location: netvision.com.
