Shame Josef is gone too, he would of had a taps sound wave I'm sure. Happy trails Razor, you will be missed.
HOWEVER, I still trust that these issues will soon be non issues. SI is run by people who can read. Content is very important on SI. SI is in my mind the best business model on the internet, as long as the content stays good.
People pay to post, thus they create the content. Like putting up a tent in the park and charging people to come in, they bring their own food, drinks, etc. I'm telling you it is the best business model on the internet. Then on top of all that GNET can use the number of members to lure advertisers, more money. Just for putting up the tent. You just have to make sure the party goers come and that they stay. 909S2ALL BLUE

Antman, re: members who left over the datek ad (incl. Josef)... It would be good for them to try the beta site. I think SI is listening to them, now is the time to criticize... since SI has incorporated their requests in the new site they should at least look it over. I'm happy with the new site because I wanted enhanced features in SI - better charts etc. I thought they would link to datek for that but in fact they have all kinds of new stuff accessible within SI with no datek link... best of all worlds. Fleck's market rap is more accessible as is all the stocksite stuff, I wanted to get to stocksite from within SI. The most useful new feature for me beyond the market monitor stuff is the folders in the inbox. There has been so many millions of times I wanted to bookmark a post.

They have a customize option where you can turn off banner ads for your user. Admittedly it says the feature doesn't work for the beta program but otoh I don't see any banner ads on the beta either. Its under "customize/options/display banner ads".

Heres the feedback link and the R&D team is on there,
