If you send me $100K, I will send you a custom 6 year bond with a 15% annual yield. This has the added advantage of having a net negative tax rate as you can claim both return of principal _and_ non-return of principal. Larger tax benefits can be arranged upon request. -g-

Hi Mike; What ever they are doing is a little over my head, but
it gives me the feeling not all is well in the land of bonds.
If they lose money ( and many of them are ) isn't that going to
come home to stocks in time ?
Seems I remember some years ago the market did a big belly bust
and it was largely due to junk bonds going kaput ?
I was not really into the market at the time, I had some friends
that took a beating, but my memory could be serving me badly.
