Everyone knows that corndogs are not real food. And the origin of creamed corn is shrouded in mystery, surrounded by a penumbra of not very palatable theories.
Anchovies, on the other hand, denote an elegant and cultivated palate, second only to caviar and escargots in élitist attractiveness.
However, because I value you so, I will agree to keep the anchovy consumption to a minimum, and even gargle with that disgusting green stuff under the kitchen sink. And you may eat corndogs on special occasions-like campouts and millenium crises.
