Well past time to move on people. The lack of excitement by the longs is palpable.

John,
Could you or someone else who listened to cc please do a quick summary. My internet hookup kicked out several times . What I did hear was a confident group,. Specifically, what was Lev talking about when he mentioned an announcement (?) possibly within a month? And what was his response to the lawsuit question? I kicked out when he said it is under appeal.
Thank you.

John,

Conference call was fine and about what I expected. Think someone will probably post entire call, so I'll wait for any detailed comments. If not, I'll post my notes later.

Still long and very comfortable.

All,

I just wanted to mention a few interesting things Lev mentioned in the call.

1. Orders from both Hanil and Alliant surprised Lev in size. The comment seemed to be spontaneous enough to indicate it's genuine.

2. Lev alluded to business practice in S.Korea as being favorable to Hanil getting deals with customers quickly.

3. Lev said Alliant is actively pursuing retrofiting existing military battery solutions with Valence's li-poly.

4. Energizer situation was disappointing, but currently working itself out with customers.

5. Valence is pursuing its owned branded batteries. Something I hadn't heard mentioned before.

6. New financing to be announced (likely) within a month.

7. Amount of announce contracts being witheld for competitive reasons. I guess competitors could estimate battery pricing based on material and cost.

8. Valence is struggling to meet demand from Alliant right now. I think that's what I heard. Anyone else hear that??

These are just a few things that were discussed. I get the impression that operations are on track.

Apologies if someone has already posted this info.

Chris
