Back to the L-2 discussion briefly... In doing a few comparisons of sample-layouts from various providers, I find it interesting that MarketTrack98's L-2 has a "unified" format that lists each MM's bid & ask in the same box, then ranks the MM's starting with the one offering the highest bid. This, instead of ranking them in two separate lists based on their bids & asks. So to find the best asks, you have to glance through the whole list since the one offering the best ask may ranked way-down-the-list because he's offering a low bid. I find that VERY cumbersome, and much prefer the layout of MyTrack and "A-T Financial", which both provide separate MM rankings -- one based on bids, the other on asks. Just an observation, for those who are doing "comparison shopping." Also, as someone else here mentioned earlier, "A-T Financial's" L-2 data for OTC stocks IS "dynamic" rather than just "snap" quotes. Not sure about MarketTrack. And finally, of course, all of these services have widely-differing price-plans. Here are some links, to save time:internet.atfi.com (for "A-T Financial" -- click on the picture of the monitor on this page, to get access to a whole bunch of "scrren shots" showing the layouts of the program's various pages)trendsoft.com (for "MarketTrack98" -- clicking on the "NASDAQ Level 2" link on that page will give you a screen-shot of their format)mytrack.com (for "MyTrack" -- you can actually download the whole "basic" program, which is FREE, and use it to explore the various layouts and get delayed quotes. If you want to upgrade the service by paying for extra features, you do that later. But the free downloaded version does show at least let you see the formal of their NASDAQ L-2 layout, using MSFT as an example). Hope maybe this helps and saves someone some time & trouble. For myself, I'm still deciding which service to go-with -- sort of torn between "A-T Financial" (which has the advantage of the "dynamic" OTC quotes) and "MyTrack" (which has only the "snap" quotes -- but I like their layout better). Want to decide in the next couple of days, so I can start one or the other on July first... Vagabond
