VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 28, 1999--
e-Vegas.com Inc. (OTC BB:ECGC) is pleased to announce that they have
begun negotiations with an Asian based investment group to establish
an on-line gaming facility targeted at the Asian markets.
"We envision establishing an on-line gaming facility that will
cater specifically to the needs of the Asian gaming market. Our joint
venture partners, which have to remain confidential at this juncture,
have substantial experience in the Asian marketplace and will help us
tailor the gaming site to the nuances of that market," stated Ed
Gallagher, President, e-Vegas.com Inc.
"Just as we have been using the experience and knowledge of our
Las Vegas based directors and advisors, we will use the same approach
for the Asian gaming site", he added.
A contingent of investors are currently touring the site in Costa
Rica with executives of the Company and one of the new directors, Mr.
Sid Diamond. Mr. Diamond is the former Director of Race and Sports for
Circus Circus Enterprises and Excalibur Hotels in Las Vegas, Nevada.
For the past 18 years Mr. Diamond has been licensed by the Nevada
State Gaming Commission and has managed the sports book business for 5
major casinos.
In other developments, the Company is working on behalf of
shareholders to increase awareness in the investment community of the
Company's activities. Mr. Gallagher has recently been interviewed and
