Rating: TOP PICK Change: None 12-Mo. Target: $280

This morning Amazon announced that it has recruited Joseph Galli, a former senior executive at Black & Decker, as President and Chief Operating Officer, adding a visible and accomplished manager to Amazon's already outstanding team. Galli apparently chose the Amazon job over a high level position at Pepsi, further evidence that top Internet companies continue to attract tremendous intellectual capital. We reiterate our Top Pick rating on AMZN. We expect Amazon's share-of-wallet to grow along with its customer base during the second half of the year and believe this to be a great entry point for the stock. (11:25AM EST)

>> Has anyone noticed not a single cheerleader, from Mary Meeker to H. Blodgett, has come out and recommended people buy these overpriced dogs?

Mary Meeker last week. Alan Braverman last week. Keith Benjamin last week. I guess you are too busy talking to be listening.

May the great Amazon flow robustly up your tailpipe, Kissyputs!
