Where did the earnings estimates go? Last month 2 analysts averages 0.63 for next year; last week one dropped out leaving 0.50 and now the earnings estimate is "n/a" ??? biz.yahoo.com Was Noam too tough on the analysts? Curiouser and curioser, ** David

Web, just back from a short trip... I think you're accurate, with the exception for your statement about not covering the short until it moved back to the 20's. They have every reason to cover the short prior to that if they can essentially cover their principal when it was trading below 6... of course, that may be a slight risk they didn't want to take. I think we discussed the merits of shorting the stock against the bond when they surprised us with it. I would be shocked if they didn't short the stock. greg
