So then I guess Falwell's magazine was perfectly accurate and the people who laughed at it were dead wrong.

the Gay Pride parade in SF this last weekend featured about a million Tinky Winkys....

San Francisco Denies Permit for 'Heterosexual Pride Parade'

The city of San Francisco yesterday denied a parade permit to a group calling themselves 'Straight From the Heart'. The group had made plans to hold a 'Heterosexual Pride Parade' celebrating the virtues of a heterosexual lifestyle. The San Francisco city council blocked approval of the parade which one council member called "Insensitive and Homophobic."

The parade's theme was to be "Heterosexuality A Natural Alternative". It would have featured heterosexual couples marching down the parade route holding hands and kissing each other. Parade organizers had also designed several floats for the event. One float would have shown a couple standing at a church alter exchanging vows. The most controversial float, however, was to feature a mother holding a new born child with the father standing next to both of them casting a doting glance.

One member of the city council blasted the event when she said, "I don't care what heterosexuals do in the privacy of their homes. But they have no business flaunting their lifestyle on the streets of San Francisco."

You should know by now I'm neither a religious right or a liberal. Fallwell, Robertson, Jackson, and Sharpton are opportunists.

The social agenda of the right turns off women pretty universally? Which universe is that? You can combine the membership of NARAL and NOW and still get nowhere near CWA.
