Hi Bob, Good points all. Needn't apologize for memory! I can help out a little:

The laptop demo at the shareholders meeting was a Micron, with 4 of the 4x4" cells laid out in a flat format, and during his comments on the conf call today he referred to '.. as demo'd at the annual mtg'

Re: Branding: I rather think he meant a specific 'Valence' brand, which he then implied EPS was open to having; hard to imagine it being co-branded since Valence would also sell to other repackagers and independent OEMs.

Re: Valence "branded" batteries

My interpretation of the discussion - and a softball 'lead-in' mentioning some pretty prominent names (Dell, IBM)- was that Valence considers its batteries proprietary enough (unique in the case of laptop batteries) that they will try to market them as premium quality (and presumably premium priced) branded products. Sort of like the "Intel Inside" characteristics of that company's microprocessors.

Re: I-Watch Buy and Sell Indications

With a stock that trades less than 1% of the shares outstanding every day, it makes no sense whatsoever to 'telegraph' one's purchase or sell indications in such a way other than to attempt to place a floor or ceiling on a stock. How many holders are there with 300,000 or 400,000 shares? 1? 3? Lousy way to execute shares but a great way to try to influence the shares as a long or as a short seller.
