BGR <bond traders want inflation to come back> I don't understand this idea. I think bond traders are tired of getting killed by expectations that rates have peaked. Traders keep thinking the worst is over and then it gets worse. After a while it becomes a trend -- which is where we are now -- rates are going up, its just a fact. Stock traders have been watching to see how far this goes. If it stops they will buy and if it doesn't they will sell -- not that complicated. Today it stopped and they bought, although with very very little conviction. Friday's economic data could well be the trigger for massive selling -- the bond market is calling the tune.
