There were lots of stocks that were far below their average volume: BRCM, CNXT, AOL, BCST, DELL, TERN.....

>> why volume was so light? Other gorilla's had close to normal
volume.

It just seemed like they did, allen. Actually, of the 4
Gorillas (imo there are only 4 in existence), only csco beat
their average volume. Using the YahooFinance numbers:

Gorilla Volume Avg. Volume % Avg Vol % Price Inc.
------- ------ ----------- --------- ------------
Msft 15851K 25731K 62% 2.13%
Csco 20720K 13961K 148% 1.02%
Intc 11846K 20319K 58% 3.05%
Qcom 1960K 3809K 51% 6.11%

Q was last in % of average volume, but first where it counts <g>.

Low Volume? Its that time of year. Everyone is on vacation.

Earnings start next week with YHOO on the 7th. Probable preoccupation with the bond market untill then. Meanwhile, besides the Feds thru Wed, we have NAPM report on Thur and the employment report on Fri. Looks like a volatile week.

BTY!
