Gary,

I am currently running Quotes Plus Version 2.0.0.3 with the Quotes Plus end of day update service on my system at work. I have just purchased a new computer for home use and would like to replicate the data on my work system for use on my home computer on a daily basis. I have the ability to access my work computer from home and would be able to transfer files however, I am not sure which files to transfer nor the size of them I do not believe this is in violation of the license agreement as neither system will be running at the same time. I will either be at work, using the system or at home using the system. Has anyone done this. If so what files get transferred. I note that there is a rather large database in the qp2data directory, CLOCAL, and its associated index. At 100M plus to transfer this would not be viable. Any help would be appreciated.

The Wilder Scan seems very impressive. Assuming one is willing to go short or long and pays low commissions, money could be made based on the backtesting results displayed. The problem I encountered is that the scan takes forever to run. It took about 30 minutes just to get through the As and Bs using an AMD 300 with 64K. Anyone know what type or system or configuration would be needed to really speed through that scan. PS has anyone refined it to further eliminate the many issues that do no change at all after a buy/sell indication.

If I wanted to give all my scans to a friend, is there one or two files I can copy, or do I have to export them all one at a time?

Why aren't the IRL categories, e.g.

!ID001 Aerospace-Def AEROCRFT
!ID002 Aerospace-Def Eq AEROEQUP
!ID003 Agriculture Oper AGRICUL
!ID004 Auto&Trck-Org Pt AUTOOEM
!ID005 Auto&Trck-Rpl Pt AUTOREPL
!ID006 Auto&Trck-Tires RUBBER
!ID007 Auto-Mfg Foreign AUTOFRGN

output in a simple listing scan like this:

output="test.lst";
println symbol, " ", description;

??

Gary, something is wrong when you get your data from your provider. Check out the following: APCC,COMS,MSFT,PMTC,PRBZ,SEBL,VCAI.
