Cirrus, at least the delays that plague Intel only impact the products that merely "test the waters." An exception, of course, would be the two-month Coppermine delay.

AMD's delays, however, make a huge impact on their bread-n-butter. AMD doesn't have the luxury to "test the waters" with their mainstream products like Athlon. It's all or nothing for them.
