Use your netscape browser and you should be able to download instant messenger, that may help.

And not only can you use AOL's ICQ, but you can also use AOL's Instant Messenger, which is -- as far as I know having not used either AOL for years -- the same thing as the buddy list you get as an AOL subscriber.

Excite also has a messenger product called Pal. Much easier to use than ICQ. excite.com
