Poor? I'm sure I have more money then you did when you were a kid... And we all know the "rich get richer and the poor gets poorer." I don't consider myself rich but I'de say I'm not doing too bad for my age...

Hi Shoot,

You are 100% correct on the tax problem. However, I heard somewhere, that there is such thing call ROTH IRA account that the kid may try to trade from. He can't either use margin or trade options, but he won't have to pay tax until he takes it out. Still tax free for him if he uses it for his first house or college tuition, which he should have both.

By start knowing the value of money and how to make money the way he does, poor kid may have a better chance than most.
