John, You raise a couple of interesting points.

Do they need to catch up on 1/1/2000 or just start making
payments so they don't fall further behind?

Have they been able to keep the deferred interest from falling
to the bottom line? I wouldn't think so but...

I am assuming that starting to make payments on these only
effects their cash position, not their income statement.

Why have they deferred payments to date. They haven't been
short of cash yet?
