The info I received wasn't from an insider. Actually, I was somewhat speculative about it till I looked at the Calls traded, then I knew it was for real. Same thing happened with ABOV last week. Those people buying the calls the day before an announcement are definitely trading w/insder knowledge.

btw, a DCLK link of interest:

Couple of things..
First..Insider trading
It seems to me that no matter when a deal is done the stock price always reflects it prior to the news being released. Look at MI over Thursday and Friday, it went from 15 and barely trading, to 20.75. Now if there wasn't any insider trading the stock should have stayed @15 and then popped to 35 when the deal was announced. Right? Same thing happened to CAT..It was @65 a 4 days before earnings and it ran from 45ish in 4 days. No matter how illegal it is it will always be done and no matter what the SEC does they can never stop it, IMHO. My take..if you come upon the info via a message board or other, use it...otherwise try to recognize that the rumor is true by the appreciation of a companies stock price.

P.S. I also missed out on MI but made good money from 12 to 19 many weeks ago when rumor first came about..just should have kept watching.

Our economy is really on a tear! And to me the following is HUGE news.

NEW YORK (CNNfn) - President Clinton on Monday
proposed paying off the national debt by 2015 after
issuing a new budget outlook that adds $1 trillion
more to the overall budget surplus over the next 15 years.

How strong would our currency and Stock Market be if this is accomplished in 15 years (or less?).
