Have I mentioned that I have no head for dates? I never remember birthdays and anniversaries. ANd I seldom know what the date is or even what time it is- I never wear a watch. (Yet I am very prompt- never late)
Anyway- this morning it dawned on me that today is Dan's birthday. AMmo and I went out after the market closed to get cards and stuff and spent so long reading every card in the place that we didn't get home til after 5. Luckily CW and Stacy were making a cake. This is CW's sole claim to culinary fame- an incredible chocolate cake to die for. And we're making ice cream. ANd having lasagna.
BUt meanwhile, the cat threw up on the living room rug, and a beer exploded in the laundry room frig because someone had turned it to max. and all the beer froze. It's after 6, and the lasagna is not yet in the oven. ANd what am I doing here typing away.
Animals don't feel guilt. That makes them better than us. Certainly more content.
As for Bach, if someone sits down at the piano, Myers will come charging through the house and leap onto the bench next to them where he rolls over on his back and stays. But he doesn't discriminate between Bach, Beethoven and the Bohemian Rhapsody. He loves them all.

This post has no meaning. But my brain felt clogged from trying to think- consider this sort of a little mental burp. A very polite one.

I don't feel seperated from the animals either. I was just in the front room working on a different computer by the windows, and I look down, and McKinley is there eating out of the cat bowl.

Where is that Fui?

"Fui! Fui! Look what's happening to your bowl! FUI!!"

I think he's going to be long-haired, in contrast to Mt McKinley.

62 degrees and cloudy.
Rain forecast.

Zowie. That will catch everyone.

Oh Great! Now he's in here, on my computer table. And Keet Seel is on the couch here. Time for long pants!

Now he's on the dining room table.

Is MJ ever going to get home???
