Its true I was a little young when the war ended. But at the age of sixteen I had to go down to the armory and register my name. I was raised in the military, my dad was a 25 year man in the Air Force. I was born on an army base and lived on a couple of other bases. My two brothers (both younger) are reservists and two of my cousins were in the army. One cousin went to Vietnam. Thankfully he came home. The front plate of my van is the POW/MIA flag.

I didn't arrive at my conclusion on flag burning easily. Believe me, I tried to convince myself to be in favor of the amendment. It is my belief in property rights that finally trumped the other arguments, painful as that is. Sincerely, Charles
