1.) Actually, the logic is impeccable. I am not so concerned with the empirical verification right now, although it would be relevant in the long run, because of the limited intent of the post; 2.) Translation: the matter should be returned to the states; 3.) It is a question of the overall social effect. We can save women from destitution, and get them back on their feet, but we it is hard to reverse the effect of cheapening human life and parental bonds...
