What would Dell do with returned lease equipment, sell it to a middle man? Don't you see everyone, MD is cutting out the middle man again by using the internet. This is dead money so why not use it to your advantage by auctioning on the internet.

eddie,
Hi!!!
RE: re: dell and used pc business a stroke of genius...here's why... apparently you guys dont get it..new car dealers have used car lots so that they can sell the little guy and keep him from going down the street to the competition...once they have them as a client it's gonna be a never ending up grade to the new stuff..boy what a brilliant strategy..its a win win deal ...its not a lose a new sale deal...its sell a used one then a new one deal...go dell...
a used dell is better than new e machine etc..sell used stuff at an affordable price...they would probably go else where if you didnt...get them set up as dell client, service agreement, tech support, mailing list, referrals from family, friends, business etc..what better way to prospect new clients..wow...

You got it....the culture of DELL...LOYAL customers...

Best, Kemble
