Gene, Seagate has a profit warning after Paper Chase told us the economy doesn't matter to these better managed firms? How rude of them. <g> BTW, Quantum was downgraded by some dead fish, too.

Yes, PC units going into inventory in the channel are up from last year, when the channel was disgorging them, big time. But the PCs are cheaper and nobody wants to pay up for the high end disk drives. Or more DRAM. Or Rambus. Or PIII.
