Trevor and Rande, thank you both for responding re PTEK.

I bought today near the end of trading and may pick up some more tomorrow morning.

Trying to fathom the MMs and shorts is beyond me at this point so I can only try to avoid them or out last them. I've been beat up the worst when I've tried to out trade them. I also don't know how to follow their moves until it is usually too late either way. Patience and tons of DD is the method I use. I research several hours every day.

I looked at the fundamentals. They have great positive cash flow, valuable positions in WebMD, USA.net and other baby IPOs. PTEK would be profitable even now if not for the goodwill they have to write down on their acquisitions.

Trevor, your opinion on why PTEK is being manipulated is the most sensible I've heard. To me this one is a takeover play and a value play. I will sell some into the next good spike then put the rest away long to hold for a much higher price target.

Regards,

Minnow
