Business to business (B2B) companies OK, I came late to the party (school loans to pay off first), and seem to have missed the portal frenzy. I think the B2B sphere is indeed the next "sexy" arena, even more so than broadband or wireless. Can we get a list of stalwarts/new players in this arena, and IPOs to come? I think there would be much to be gained by discussing this. Already public companies (in no particular order): VERT CPTH DRIV Not yet public: Datachannel: ecommerce XML software Employease: Internet-based HR outsourcing Idiom technologies: Worldserver for global e-commerce For a more complete list, see herring.com VERT had an especially nice move today. AMZN seems to have lots of inertia at this point, and earnings (which I believe will be the catalyst for significant price increase) will not be until 7/29. I am contemplating rolling out of AMZN into VERT, which looks very strong. Comments? Michelle, I would be very interested in your take on Datachannel and Employease
